One
of the problems getting a helmet for Kite sports is
that they just do not give you real protection most
have only just got EC  approval
, many have not. This means that you would only be covered
in an accident at very low speeds with limited impact
protection so I looked at this in another way - What
speeds do I need to be covered for? Certainly
more than 12mph maybe up to 50mph plus. What type of
impact would my head need to be covered for? Certainly
a lot more than a bicycle helmet. How
much do I want to pay for this? Well I could have said
whatever it takes but let's be sensible
